The Sycamore Lodge building was originally Victorian, built in 1868.

The front was “updated” with stucco in the 1930’s.

An addition was added on the left in the 1940’s. This area houses the dining room and museum area upstairs, and a storefront at ground level.

The most spectacular room in the building is the lodge room. It features very tall tin ceilings, a grand piano, and big chairs that the officers get to sit in. The hall can seat about 100 people.

This is our retro kitchen, with a fabulous vintage gas stove. We also have a dining room that can seat about 50 people.

We have a large costume collection, which we get to wear when we put on initiations and such.

Here’s an 1889 drawing of “Haywards” (which is now Hayward), with the Odd Fellows Lodge featured at the bottom.
