Our commitment

The Hayward Odd Fellows want everyone in our community to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or captions. We’re a volunteer-run lodge, and we look after this site the way we look after the building: steadily, and with help from anyone who tells us what needs fixing.

The standard we’re working toward

We’re working toward WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the accessibility guidelines published by the World Wide Web Consortium. These are the standards most commonly used to meet the Americans with Disabilities Act.

We haven’t had a full audit yet, so we can’t claim the site meets every part of them. We check pages as we update them and fix what we find.

What we know still needs work

We don’t have any open problems on our list right now. When we find one, or you tell us about one, we’ll note it here until it’s fixed.
