What is chamber music?

Chamber music is played by a small group, usually a trio, quartet or quintet, with one player on each part and no conductor. It started as home entertainment for people of every background, amateur and professional alike. Playing it builds listening and teamwork, gives students a chance to perform, and it’s a lot of fun.

Apply

Fill out the form below and upload a video or audio recording of the student playing. The recording should be at least 30 seconds and no more than 3 minutes. Applications are due November 15, 2026.
