  • Toys for Tots & Canned Food Drive, Holiday Raffle & Bingo 11/29/26

    Bring a new, unwrapped toy and canned food for families in need, then stay for refreshments, three raffles, two bingo games, and prizes. Wear your best Christmas gear or ugly Christmas sweater! Everyone is welcome, so bring family and friends.

    • Where: Hayward Odd Fellows – Sycamore Lodge #129, 950 B St., Hayward, CA 94541
    • What to bring: A new, unwrapped toy and canned food for families in need.

  • New Year’s Eve Gala on the USS Hornet 12/31/26

    3 O’Clock Jump, the big band from our Summer Concert Series, headlines the USS Hornet Museum’s New Year’s Eve Gala, with special guest Nick Rossi & his Swing Six. Ring in 2027 dancing aboard a historic aircraft carrier!

    Event details

    • When: Thursday, December 31, 7:00 PM to 1:00 AM
    • Where: USS Hornet Museum, 707 W Hornet Ave, Alameda
    • Music: 3 O’Clock Jump, with special guest Nick Rossi & his Swing Six
    • What: Dancing on the enclosed, heated Hangar Deck, a silent auction, and a midnight countdown with the band. Black tie optional.
    • Food and drink: Cash bars, plus sandwiches, salad and chili for purchase.
    • Parking: Free.

    • Cabaret seating (in front of the stage, along the main dance floor): $119
    • Reserved seating: $99
    • General admission (no table seat): $79
    • USS Hornet Museum members save $10.

  • East Bay Symphonic Band Halloween Concert 10/25/26

    Sunday, October 25, 2026 · 6:00–9:00 PM · Concert at 7:30 PM

    The East Bay Symphonic Band returns to life for its Halloween concert at the lodge! Come for dinner and dessert, a costume contest, scary stories, and live music. Free to all.

    Event details

    • When: Sunday, October 25, 6:00–9:00 PM. The concert starts at 7:30 PM.
    • Where: IOOF Sycamore Lodge #129, 950 B St., Hayward
    • Cost: Free. Tax-deductible donations are accepted to benefit East Bay Symphonic Band music programs.
    • Who: Open to all ages, and children are especially welcome. Small children must be supervised.
    • What: Dinner and dessert, a costume contest, scary stories, and the concert.
