Mon. 12/8: Social & Business Meeting at 7:30 pmOur monthly Lodge Social and Business meetingis always on the second Monday of the month – the Social and dinner usually starts at 6:30 and the meeting at 7:30.
The lodge voted in August to discontinue Zoom meetings, so this will be an in-person meeting. Come visit and say hi for a bit, or stay and find out what is going on at the business meeting. Peace & Pizza meets monthly, usually on the second Friday of the month, usually by Zoom. They usually feature a discussion, guest speaker or documentary, organized by Sycamore Member Stephania Widger, oceankayak@aol.com . Email Stephania for the Zoom link.

Sun. 12/14: EBYO Sensory Friendly Concert!On Sunday 12/14 our friends in the East Bay Youth Orchestras are pleased to present a sensory-friendly holiday concert, featuring music (and dancers) including selections from the Nutcracker Suite and other holiday favorites. They’ll have plenty of fun in the lobby and some special guests! This will be held at 390 Panama Street, Hayward, CA. Reserve your seats for this free concert here:

Mon. 12/29: 3OJ Open Rehearsal!
Lodge members, join the 3 O’Clock jump swing band at the lodge on Monday December 29 for a sneak preview of their USS Hornet New Years Eve show! Downbeat is 7:30 and we will hit the high points of the show and have a “new year’s countdown” at 9:00! If you want to attend, please email secretarysycamore129@gmail.com so we can expect you.

Wed. 12/31: NYE Lodge Sleepover!
Lodge members are invited to a NEW event, a NYE Sleepover at the Historic Odd Fellows Lodge! Fun activities include sheetfort building, pillow fights, building-wide hide and seek, DJ from 10-2am, lollypop, and pancake breakfast in the morning. This is being led by Member Jon Dickinson. Requests & Dedications Zoom
Sycamore Member Frank Goulart continues to recover from his 2020 stroke, but he still plays guitar – and he invites everyone to a weekly “Request & Dedications” Zoom social on every Monday through Thursday at 12-1:30pm and Fridays 1-2pm. (Pacific time). Come to talk and laugh and enjoy some music and friendship. Bring your harmonica or other instrument, or sing along! If you would like to get on his email list so you get the the Zoom link, email Frank at fgoulart@pacbell.net . Let him know requests for any songs you would like him to play.
